The UAE offers 90-day visas in both single-entry and multiple-entry formats. A single-entry visa permits one continuous stay of up to 90 days. For those needing frequent access, there is a 5-year multiple-entry tourist visa that allows stays of up to 90 days per visit, and up to 180 days total per calendar year.
To process your 90-day tourist visa quickly, applicants must provide:
- A clear color scan of a passport valid for at least six months from the intended date of arrival.
- A recent passport-sized photograph featuring a clear face against a white background.
- A confirmed return or onward flight ticket.
- Valid health insurance covering the full duration of your stay, which is now mandatory for all visitors.
For UAE residents wishing to host relatives or friends for up to 90 days, immigration authorities require the sponsor to meet specific financial thresholds and place a refundable security deposit of AED 1,000:
- First-Degree Relatives (Parents, Spouse, Children): The resident sponsor must demonstrate a minimum monthly salary of AED 4,000.
- Second and Third-Degree Relatives (Siblings, Grandparents, Cousins): The minimum monthly salary requirement increases to AED 8,000.
- Friends and Non-Relatives: To sponsor a friend, the resident must have a minimum salary of AED 15,000.
- Supporting Documents: You must provide attested proof of kinship (such as a marriage or birth certificate), a copy of the sponsor's Emirates ID, passport, and proof of accommodation like a hotel booking or tenancy contract. For certain nationalities, including Pakistani nationals, a National ID copy and additional verification may be required for new visa applications.
- Important Notice: The 10-day grace period has been abolished, and overstay fines of AED 50 per day accrue immediately from day one.
